Most of the public events are organized on social media web sites. This is happening in the larger cities, which in this region is Aalborg. Typically people meet, share and discuss the thematics and have coffee, beer, cakes etc. It can be very cozy and inspiring to meet new people. Some of the large companies are also hosting social activities for their employees with wine tasting, art, music etc.

Internations hosts parties and other types of dancing, wine, art groups, while meetups in Aalborg has different groups within machine learning, programming languages, yoga, the good life and much more. These types of events will not be much in the provincial cities in the region,

There are 'go-home-meetings' hosted by interest organizations or professional unions, which are informal and can involve sharing of ideas and socializing. This could for instance be for people working with sustainable energy across companies, who meet to socialize and discuss something new and is organized for members of the professional union or likewise industry network.
